By registering for any event related to The Art of Being the Principal, or any event hosted by Sidemark, Inc. ("Event"), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Registration & Admission
Event registration is subject to approval.
Because attendance is intentionally limited and curated, Sidemark reserves the right to accept, decline, or cancel registrations at its discretion to maintain the intended experience and audience for the Event.
If a registration is declined by Sidemark, any registration fees paid will be refunded in full.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of registration unless otherwise stated.
Your seat is not guaranteed until payment has been received and registration has been confirmed.
Cancellation & Transfer Policy
Due to the limited capacity of this Event, all registrations are non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your registration to another qualified attendee or a future Sidemark event. Transfer requests must be submitted in writing no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the Event and are subject to approval.
No-shows are not eligible for refunds, credits, or transfers.
Event Modifications
Sidemark reserves the right to modify the Event schedule, speakers, content, venue, or agenda as needed.
If the Event is postponed or canceled by Sidemark, attendees will receive either a full refund or a credit toward a future event, at Sidemark's discretion.
Confidentiality & Participation
This Event is designed to encourage candid discussion among business owners.
Attendees may hear confidential, proprietary, financial, operational, or business-related information shared by other participants.
By attending, you agree to respect the confidentiality of discussions that occur during the Event and not disclose another attendee's business information, financial details, client information, or personal experiences without their express permission.
Participants may share their own takeaways and lessons learned but should not attribute comments, examples, or information to another attendee without consent.
Photography, Video & Recording
Photography, video, and audio recording may occur during the Event.
By attending, you grant Sidemark permission to use photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, testimonials, comments, and your likeness for marketing, promotional, educational, and business purposes without compensation.
Personal note-taking is encouraged. However, attendees may not record presentations, discussions, hot-seat sessions, or attendee conversations without prior written permission from Sidemark.
Intellectual Property
All Event materials, presentations, workbooks, frameworks, templates, worksheets, recordings, and related content are the property of Sidemark or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Materials are provided for personal business use only and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, sold, shared, published, or repurposed without prior written permission.
No Professional Advice
Content presented during the Event is for educational and informational purposes only.
Nothing presented constitutes legal, accounting, tax, financial, investment, employment, or professional advice. Attendees are responsible for seeking professional guidance appropriate to their specific circumstances.
No Guarantee of Results
Sidemark makes no guarantees regarding business growth, profitability, revenue, client acquisition, operational improvements, or any other business outcome.
Results depend on many factors, including each attendee's implementation, business model, market conditions, and individual circumstances.
Attendee Conduct
Attendees are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully.
Harassment, discrimination, disruptive behavior, excessive solicitation, aggressive sales activity, or conduct that negatively impacts the experience of other attendees may result in removal from the Event without refund.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sidemark, its owners, employees, contractors, speakers, affiliates, and venue partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from participation in the Event.
Any liability shall be limited to the amount paid by the attendee for Event registration.
Assumption of Risk
Attendance and participation are voluntary. Attendees assume all risks associated with travel to, attendance at, and participation in the Event.
